Hi!

If you're using netepic rules believe me it doesn/t. AA guns are very powerful
in net epic and provide very strong air cover.

T-hawks used to be very popular but with AA guns around they are used very
infrequently. Players just dont want to risk a whole detachemtn to go up in
flames with one shot.

In the original rules this may have been a problem but once GW introduced AA
guns t-hawks value plummeted.

In additon ONLY chaos marines can ride in t-hawks, NO OTHER units may do it, so
trolls etc, can never benefit from them.

I'd suggest you have a go at it with netepic rules and through a lot of stuff in
T-hawks and they enemy with a decent air force and AA guns and watch how many
get through.

In playtest we quickly learned that the old tactics of airdropping everything
with impunity no longer applied.
