Did it go through the time vortex in the washing machine? :P

Um, how does the word "mighty" apply to IG? Anyways, here's my take:

1) A dominatrix :)
2) A hive tyrant to extend your will

Carnifex (what's the plural form of this anyways) and anything which forces
the IG to make a morale check when charged.

Some Biovores for long range support.

A Trygon is good for spearheading assaults and as a fire magnet.

Some Hormagaunts in mycetic spores to assault the inevitable artillery.

Use Carnifex in conjunction with cheap troops like hormagaunts in assaults.

Assault tough targets with genestealers.

I probably wouldn't get any titans in a 3000pt game.

P.S. I confess I've never actually played 'nids, so practice may ruin my
theory...
