Seeing as you have gone after dragon names, have you had a look at Anne
McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern Series. Some are pretty common eg Ruth (a
white) but some of the Browns, most of the Bronzes and Queens would do well.
Also, you would have to have a "Glaurung" evil dragon that he was.
