Hi!
If you are looking for alternate miniatures for your imperial forces have a
look at this site:
http://www.ghqmodels.com/
Here You'll find most of what you need for your imperial army. The models
looks very impressive, however the scale i 1:285 so they are probably
slightly larger than your regular Epic mini.

HA! Try a mere two Marine tactical companies <sigh> with
devastators jury-rigged from tactical marines and Heroics&Ross 6mm Mi-
24 helicopter weapons and odd GHQ microarmour metal bits (how I do
love putting my minis under the surgical knife, since I need the
practice for my future in neurosurgery :). I may be getting a few
Terminators, Drednoughts, Bikers and Assault Marines soon, but it
looks like I'm still goint to need help in terms of Whirlwinds and
Predators, etc. <wink, wink> .
By the way, have any of you, Epic veterans, tried alternate means
of airborne transport for the Marines besides Thunderhawks and drop
pods? I was thinking of converting a 1/72 scale V-22 Osprey VTOL
model by inverting the engine naecelles without the propellers, and
painting the hole where the propeller fits like a jet engine exhaust,
so that what results is reminiscent in concept to the transport
shuttle from the old "Space: Above and Beyond" TV show. Give it half
the movement rate of a Thunderhawk, a 3-platoon transport capacity,
and a couple of support weapons. What do you guys think?
Best regards, Eric.
