Hi!
Nah, the time stands. I had one friend in Long Island who he and I have the record for a 6000 point game 1 hour and 30 minutes. The thing is that fellow and I know the rules cold, no looking up and we're very focused. I consistently played 6000 point games with that guy that hovered on average around 2 hours and 15 minutes. Now, with some other friends, Darius for example we averaged 3 to 4 hours per game. One good friend of mine it took closer to 5 per game.
It depends on my mood I guess. If I'm in the tournament mood I make games move real quick. If not a lot slower.
Heck, I've run games with up to 40000 points per side that have run to a successful conclusion in around 8 hours with multiple players taking a hand.
Peter
