Combining Dread barrages

The Space Marine Dreadnoughts (the support version) have a 4 barrage
point weapon. Must they combine their respective barrages when firing
(this makes an horrendous 16BP template O_o) or they have to fire 4
separated barrages of 4 barrage points each?
