Hi!
There are no real guidelines and nor should their be any. People should use whatever resources for a table they have and not have them dictated to them. I prefer large tables (mine is 8 x 6 feet), but have played on smaller ones.

Maybe this is the problem... our table is 180x120 (6x4 feet, as
stated in the core rules).
On a 180x120cm table, the AA detachments cover the ENTIRE battlefield

This points out an interesting question... how long and wide can/must
be a NetEpic battlefield?
