The bonus dice are rolled when the titan fights a regular unit, and not
against an elite.
If 3 tactical marine stands and 2 veteran stands charge a titan, the
attacker might let 2 marines stands fight first, letting the titan roll its
bonus dice. Then the veterans fight and the titan use its normal roll,
finally the last tactical is send forth and the titan use the bonus
