Hi Robert!
I used to play a little bit of Squad Leader, but found the amount of
rules very cumbersom. It's really a great game though. A computer game
that has a similar feel is the excellent Steel Panthers. One of the
best computer games ever made, in my humble opinion. I play it still,
every once in a while. It has the best campain system I've ever seen in
a game. It's very interesting to see how as the war goes on, and new
technologies are introduced, the tide of battle swings back and forth.
New fighting styles must be developed as the war progesses.
But I ramble, and this IS a Net Epic board.
I really like the Epic units and rules for thier unique armies and well
ballanced forces. It's a wierd and wild universe that you just can't
take TOO seriously. And that makes it a LOT of fun!
