Hmmm...
I dont like this rule. Picture a platoon of IG support troops firing at a detachment of marines accompanied by a medic. Finaly, they have gotten a clear LOS to the medic (its the closest target)The support trooper has used one shot and has one left, but he can not shoot at the medic because he is not in the same detachment as the ones he just shot at, even though the medic is the most viable target!?!??!
I think this will just add complexity at the expence of playability and common sense.
