One point that's been raised is, "What happens to the models I have? I want
to use them!"
The answer is, you still use 'em. My proposal was ment to eliminate units
that cannot effectively turn around on an Epic battlefield - 1,200
mile-per-hour F-16s and the like. My concept of fliers on the Epic scale is
that of helicopters and that's what I'll be basing my proposed unit
statistics on.
For example:
Hind = flying tank = Marauder fighter-bomber
Apache = air superiority = Thunderbolt
Seahawk = medium transport = Thunderhawk
I'm not proposing any major changes to the unit statistics (at least, not
now), I'm proposing a change in how the units are defined: hovercraft /
helicopter vs. jet fighter.
