You purchased the titan with a fixed point cost, and equipped them
with X weapons (with X depending on the titan); weapons choice
was almost totally free (the main limit was a distinction between
carapace and arm mount points). This, of course, was extremely
prone to ludicrous abuse, like warlords equipped with multiple one-
shot missiles etc.
