Heresy question

Hi,

just reading through the rules. In the section on Artillery, it states
that indirect fire from artillery units will deviate 2d10 cms in a random
direction. In NetEpic, artillery still has a 1 in 3 chance to hit during
deviation. Since there is no mention of this in Heresy, i assume that it
always deviates? If so, do you use an 8 sided dice to represent the
deviation
dice?
