Hi!
You came to the right place for that question!
I think DSII is one of the best designed games out there for 6mm. It
covers everything you would want for a game: good morale rules where it
impacts on the unit's performance and ability to carry out actions. The
firing and penetration scheme is something I am thinking to emulate in
Heresy II. It takes into account the units fire systems and the target's
evasion characteristics.
Also, <grin> I made a full conversion of most epic units a couple of
years ago to use your epic figs in a DSII game. I had to come up with
some "stretching" of the rules, but they all respond to DSII basics. I
thought they were fun.
Also it has a point's construction system to make any unit you want. The
downside is that I think the point system is not that fine tuned,
especially with vehicles and unit in a high price range which may not
that be effective as the cost suggests.
I highly recommend the game.
Peter

Hi!
Geo-hex has great service, but I have seen time and time again if the
manufacturer is overseas you are better off ordering direct. Even with
postage you save big bucks!
The link for the bug picture is
http://www.gtns.co.uk/gzgstore/html/images/dsm-130.jpg
The code is DSM-130. Your right, they make a good new tryanid unit.
Isn't there anew tyranid unit in 40k? The ravener or something?

Not to bash Geo-hex (they have a great site and great
products) because they have to make a profit but when
they were selling them it was still cheaper to get
them from England. That is why they mutually agreed to
drop the line. The bugs look look like a new unit we
could make for tyranids nad if you check out one of
the codes you will see an exact replica of the
Starship Trooper bugs. They are a different scale but
I am thinking of getting them as well. Can't remember
the code.
