Hello,
I have been playing Wiz Kids Mech Warrior recently and
found it a refreshing change. Its simple, the games
setup and finish quickly and the mini's come painted.
You have all the flavor of troops, vehicles and titans
(save for flyers). Tactics are are important as well.
When I tire of this game I can play titan wars. I
highly recommend this game. If you are a die-hard
Battle Tech player you may not like it unless you get
out of the BT mode. They are different games. Other
games worthwhile playing are VOID (simpler than
Warzone but clearer and fairer than WH 40K), Warmaster
(the most fun I have had playing a mass fantasy
battle) and I have yet to try but have read the rules
for AoA (15mm fantasy skirmish that makes up for what
is lacking in WHFB). Still Space Marine AKA Net Epic
4.1 is my favorite game but you have to take a break
once in a while.
