W40k Necron codex... =)

were a dead race who made some really neat weapons, but were
exterminated by the Slann. The Slann are the ancients, or at least
they used to be, as they are the ones who created all those neat
thingies like warp gates and such, not to mention all those genetic
experiments gone bad (Eldar), and those that came out OK (Humans).
The Slann are supposed to be degenerate now, having fallen from the
proverbial grace, and are now little more than gungans in space.
