necron names

Hi,
Thought I chime in before the naming thing got too strange on the
Slann robot allies. I have a suggestion that should be workable to
all. Using the 'tholian' model in 'star fleet battles' have the slann
allies be archeo or paleo necrons, and the stand-alone necrons be neo
necrons. This has several advantages; every body would get to have
necrons - important if epic figures ever appeared and although
netepic is great for filling in the blanks of 40k history, creating a
new race whole cloth can cause problems. the paleo necrons can use
the background of the First release and the neo necrons later
background. Hardware could be swaped between the two in game
design,to acheive game balance, or 'I have to have it' syndrome. What
remains is how the two necrons relate to each other. I lean toward
allies sometimes, enemies other
