[NetEpic ML] Vehicles with Bolters

As stated in page 24 of the Core Rules, bolter armed vehicles may always
fire against troops charging them.

What happens to vehicles (I think only Praetorians) that have no Bolters but
Heavy Bolters (I remember the Hellbore, Imperial Dropship and, although 4.1,
the Squat Behemot) ?

If the rule is strictly dedicated to Bolters, aren't these Heavy Bolter
armed vehicles a bit defenless against hordes of light enemy troops?
