Raven Guard

Ok, here's my attempt at the Raven Guard, the one I
promised some time ago. Go ahead and pick it apart.

Fluff: Raven Guard is one of the first founding
legions. Their primarch, Corax, was from an early age
instructed to guerilla tactics and the Legion's near
Destruction in Isstvan III further reinforced the
modus operandi as they did not have the numbers to
wage full scale war. Corax became legendary for his
ability to achieve the greatest possible result with
the minimum force by applying that force to exactly
the right point.

Doctrine: Raven Guard excels in guerilla style
operations behind enemy lines, surgical strikes and
hit and run attacks. Unlike White Scars who also are
experts of hit and run the Raven Guard make extensive
use of drop pods and Thunderhawks to catch the enemy
off balance.

Organization: Raven Guard is a codex chapter although
they show preference to fast vehicles and assault
infantry over heavy tanks and devastators.

Special Rules:
Limited heavy support: Raven Guard doctrine emphasizes
speed over heavy support. A Raven Guard army may not
have more devastator than assault detachments or more
tank detachments (Land raider, Vindicator, Whirlwind,
Predator) than Land Speeder and Bike detahcments.

Pin Point accuracy: The Raven Guard are experts in
planetary assaults and their troop drops are very
accurate. They may re-roll the scatter distances when
using drop pods. The second result is final even if
worse than the first.

Careful reconnaissance: Raven Guard commanders make
extensive use of scouts to gather accurate first-hand
intelligence about enemy plans. If the Raven Guard
player has any scout detachments in his army he may
add a +1 modifier to the FRIST (and ONLY to the first)
initiative roll in the game.

Jump Packs: Raven Guard characters (Commander,
Techmarine, Chaplain and Apothecary) may exchange
their Rhino for a jump pack.
