Core Rules 5.J discussion?

It's been six weeks since I put up the latest version of the core
rules. There were a few items that I felt deserved discussion, but
unless folks bring things up I'll put up a poll voting on making the
current version (5.J) official.

There have been minor changes since 5.J, such as a few different
pictures, a multiple combat picture and "Stupid" as a special
ability. There will probably continue to be further minor changes but
they will also be small things - pictures, diagrams, examples, and
the like. If approved, the formatting, layout and organization will
stay the same. Time for your opinions!

One thing that deserves to be brought up is the cover art. Personally
I like it and think it captures attention, but I can see how others
would prefer something more militant. Any suggestions?

Once we've settled the core rules I'll go back over them and strip it
to the bare bones, creating NetEpic Lite. My target is 12 pages
including the cover, as a quick-start rulebook for newbies and a
condensed reference book for experienced players.

In parallel with that I'll be going over the army books again, in the
same order (starting with Space Marines) and putting them in order
with the new core rules.

Finally, Peter, I hate to do this to you but it's time to write
that "Introduction to NetEpic 5.0" that you've been putting off for
over two years. *grin*
