Rules questions

Hello all. I am a new member here and thought I would start off with
a few questions that has turned up in our first test games.

Advance fire: Can a unit that has fought in CC fire in the Advance
phase?

Firing into close combat: Troops who are pinned in CC are safe from
being shot at, everyone else is fair game, is this correct?
