Just an aside about Tau gravitic deflectors as has been written up in BFG and the Epic: Apocolypse playtest files.
The gravitic deflectors work differently then Imperial void shields or Ork power fields, in that they attempt to deflect shots as opposed to stopping them cold. In the E:A files this gives them an Invulnerable save, proportionate to the attack type. In BFG, it simply augmented their forward armor. What it does mean though is that Tau deflectors don't get knocked down except by critical hits, but when they go down it's all the way.
Brain's fried after getting off from UPS driving, I'll need to look over the latest iteration of the rules to see how the mechanic would work.
