Revenant Titan

Yes, maybe we should resolve this one so everyone is using the same rules.

In SM2 days, Revenant had 2 Pulse Lasers. Each Pulse Laser has the following stats: Range 75cms, hit on a 3+, -2 TSM, 1D3 hits.; Can instead fire as a Barrage hitting on 3+, cannot damage buildings. (WD 186)
In NetEpic 4.1, Revenant had exactly the same as above.

In the NetEpic 5.0 book the tables at the back show the range for the Pulse Lasers as 75cm, but the template shows 100cms (and the other stats for a Pulsar). I assume this is an error and the template is incorrect.

In SM2 days the Phantoms/Warlocks had Pulsars: Range 100cms, hit on a 2+, -2 TSM, 1D6 hits. In NetEpic 4.1 these are the same, with a points cost of 150. It could not attack buildings. In NetEpic 5.0, this same weapon (except now with the ability to damage buildings) is referred to as a Pulse Laser (P27). I assume this is an error and is meant to refer to a Pulsar, though I also assume the new ability to damage buildings is a deliberate choice.

In SM2 days a pair of Revenants cost 600 points. Unfortunately they were ommitted from the NetEpic 4.1 book. In the NetEpic 5.0 book they are 400 (Both in the standard list special card, and the Saim-Hann support card version. Revenants (with a 75cm Pulse Laser) were overcosted at 600 so I assume this was deliberate, particularly as the same value is recorded in 2 places.

Agreement that the NetEpic 5.0 book needs an errata for Pulsar/Pulse Laser and for the Revenant template?

Hello Gentelmen!

Thanks for all the feedback! One of the many strengths of NetEpic is just that it is thoroughly tested over the years. Im thinking of putting together an addendum of tricky rule situations so that can arise during a game. Apparently there as as many Revenant titan versions as there are players.. :)

Best regards

Johan
