Well, the rules for Holo-field in the rule book explicitly
states "This save is ineffective against template weapons", making no
distinction between direct or indirect fire. A Quake Cannon is a
template weapon. On what basis does the Holo-field work against a
Quake Cannon but not a Thudd Gun or Basilisk? According to the rules
as written, the Quake Cannon should ignore the fixed save, but be
forced to scatter once.

Also, the new bit for Holo-fields says "any Barrage Template that
covers the unit will always scatter". Was this really only meant to
work against Barrage Templates, or should it apply to any template
weapon? (in anticipation of the Errata master )

:)
