Ork Dragsta Shield Question

I played a game the other day and we came across a situation that I had
never seen. One of the vehicles did not have the range to shoot at the
dragsta, but could hit the edge of the shield. So that begged the
question - what does the shield look like and can it be targetted? I
always considered the shield to be like the deflector shields on Star
Trek, that are visible when shot at. However, my opponentconsidered
them to be visible, like, and I shudder to say this, the Gungan Shields
from Star Wars - The Phantom Menace.

So what do you all think? What do the shields look like, and can they
be targetted? Thanks.
