You had it right, Andrea. On a hit location template, you use the old "Left Right Up Down" dice from Space Marine, not the GW Scatter Die.

Subject: [NetEpic ML] Scattering on hit location tables

Hallo!

What the rules mean with "scatter" when talking about shots on hit location
templates?

I always use the old Space Marine dice (Each had four blank sides, one had
Up and Down, the other RIght and Left).

Yesterday during a game a friend of mine instead asked to use a scatter
dice..

What do you usually do?!?

Andrea
