Remember you have alternating movement too, so not only would it need
Advance orders (itself a disadvantage) but also need to move after the
pinning infantry. Part of the depth of NetEpic is from the alternating
movement and working out when to move what unit!

Hello one and all.
Just wanted to say, despite a long absence, I am now back playing epic!
Two games so far- and I am losing, but thoroughly enjoying playing
again. At least the games have been close anyway! Most recent encounter
was orks vs tyranids- it all looked good until the dominatrix played
psychic powers on my gargant. What a slag this creature is! So
difficult to damage too.

I have to admit, we are still really playing 2nd edition epic (well,
that's what NETEPIC is based on surely?) but looking at a few NetEpic
rules at a time to usher in. This is kind of the natural process anyway
I'd guess?

One rule change that appears tricky is the pinning system- correct me
if I'm wrong, but there seem far more size classes now. Surely this is
a tremdous disadvantage to close assault infantry companies? My
opponent would only need to leave threatened vehicles on advance orders
to break out of any close assault?!
