You can use them as you have suggested. They also make fine heavy weapons
troops for a standard Imp Guard army too. The bit I always found
interesting was the loader....he doesn't have a rocket or an autocannon
mag.....I use them as loaders for my Earthshakers and Zulus. I've mounted
both the autocannon and the missile teams on square bases....I use one and
put it in the centre hole. I then GS sandbags for the AC guy (it's pretty
easy), or use the ruins off the E40K base sprues as cover for the missile
teams. For infantry guns, I've actually used the Mk2 Ork Hop Splat guns
which look pretty cool IMO.

Not sure I understand the second para? The metal E:A FSP is just the E40K
plastic autogunner and missile teams poorly cast with some sandbags. I
use Ragnaroks as Mammoths. You could use the Siegfrieds as recon vehicles
I guess, but they are pretty stupid looking IMO....much better things to
spend your money on!

Hello All,

In the Old Epic 40,000 IG Detachment Box, there were some new figures
included - the Autocannon, the Missile Team (which had two guys, a
commander and a Bazooka holding trooper), and the Loader, a trooper
holding a shell. If I am reading the Net Epic Rules right, the Missile
Team are the troops for the Rocket Platoon, and the Autocannon is the
troop stand for the Infantry Gun platoon. Am I correct on this? Also, how
are these supposed to be mounted? The box has a picture of 2 Autocannons,
1 Missile Team, and 2 Loaders. I am old school and I will be mounting
these on square bases. Anyone have any good thoughts on this? I wish there
was a convenient way to make sandbags for these....

With respect to the metal IG pieces from Specialist Games, would the Fire
Support Platoon have the Infantry Gun rules? And are there rules for the
Siegfried and Ragnarok tanks? I haven't seen any for them.

Thanks for the help.
