[NetEpic ML] Re: Tech Priests [was: Revision Issue: Titans]

It's easy to look down upon the Warhammer Universe, and think these
people a bit stupid. We look at thier superstitions, their god worship,
and find them more than a bit primative.

But, of course, we don't have Demons, Orks, Tyranids, Eldar, and Slaan
attacking us. Or civilization hasn't been destroyed by, to us, harmless
psychics. Our souls do not exist in the Warp. The spiritual and
physical realms do not coexist.

I think that the Imperium is doing what it must to survive. Science,
the psychic, and the spirtual, must all be present in one religion, if
the human race is to succeed. The Emperor understood this.

For us, the Imperial Tarot is strange and wierd. To the Imperium, it is
a tool to divine answers. We cannot understand why a litany must be
proformed for mechanical repairs. A Tech Priest, could not imagine a
machine, without considering the spiritual. Finally, we cannot fully
understand the Warhammer Universe, thank God, because we don't live in
one.
