Well, the way you used history in your previous post to make a point, which
i could easily contradict using the same history, gets us nowhere.
Don't you think the Slann evolved while the Eldar and all the other races
did?
This isn't about whether the Slann interfered with the Eldar or not, it's
about
the basics of psychic powers. Obviously, we know little of this in real
life,
but we have to assume that they all have some things in common, at least in
game terms. Well, no matter, we'll just have to agree to disagree on this
one :)
I am certain that non-physical saves are a basic skill for psychers, because
when you learn how to best attack, you also learn how to best defend. You
can't
possibly learn how to open your mind and use your powers without also
knowing
how to close it, else you'd be in serious trouble. And that's what a psy
save is,
imho, to close your mind against the intrusions of other psychers.

Using history as a factor in explaining why they dont have non physical
psycic saves is by NO means bogus. Reading the introduction to the Slann,
they created the other races but left them alone to develop themselves, and
from this I do not think that it's in the Slann nature to meddle with their
creations evolutionary process.
And why can you be so certain that non physical psycic throws is a basic
skill. It obviously is so for the Eldar school of thought, but not for the
Slann.
I would also like any input on this topic from the rest of you!
