As always a locical explanation.... :)

Well, I would like to point out that I'm not saying that the Slann Magus
does not have a non physical psycich saving throw. I'm simply trying to give
a plausible reason for why they might not have it! And I'm not saying that
they haven evolved either, but just that they have developed different sides
of the psychic arts... The Eldar has also dabbeled in warp technologi, but
has not come as far as the Slann yet.

If you follow your own theory the slann should have acces to all the cheesy
thecnologi of all the other races, and would be able to use whichever they
found best.... Obviouslly the haven't.... and perhaps it's also so with the
non physical savingthrow....
