Well, the reason why the accompaning transport should not be given orders
are quite logical. The commander and the transport have to be in formation.
If you have to give orders to the vehicle, then you could as well be giving
orders to the commander.
The commander must be able to be where he is needed the most, and it is his
privelige as a commander to jump into his transport, with his top trained,
loyal crew, and order it to move wherever he wants. If you as a player had
to determend this at the arder phase, very much of the consept about
commanders would be lost.
