Hi Peter!

Do you really think that Command vehicles should have to have orders
placed for them, when the Commander is not in the vehicle?

If you look at the company cards, most HQ units include an infantry
command stand, and a command vehicle. The HQ unit is not just the
infantry element. Many cards place a square flag on vehicles, and
infantry. The square flag designates command units.

What about Command Vehicles such as Vindicators, and Leman Russ tanks,
included as Company Commanders? These units have no infantry in thier
HQ detachment. Yet they are Commanders, just the same. With the full
abilities of an infantry command unit.

I would never say that the a Command Transport should be able to command
troops. But why should a Command unit, be crippled, by having to place
orders for thier transports? The whole command detachment, must
maintain coherency. Would the commander get to charge and first fire
more than 6cm, if his transport had First Fire orders?

Giving command transports the ability to Charge and First Fire, is the
only way to provide infantry command units, the transports they need, to
move unrestricted by coherency rules.
