-1 caf to cavalry in woods would be sufficient. As far as I know, netepic is
the only strategy game that doesn't give any penalty to cavalry in woods...

Yes, woods tend to disrupt tightly packed formations. Of troops and
cavalry. I could see a -1 penalty, for cavalry.
