Sm Assault troops should be +4. I agree with you. They cost the same as
tactical and I would take the tactical over them. I usually field assault
marines only when I have a battle company or know I need to bog my opponent
down with an objective otherwise I prefer the Tacs. Their CAF is similar and
weapon range much better.
