RE: [Net Epic ML] IG/TG/SoB and all things Imperial

Hi!

This would be cool! Post your version of the Imperial timeline and we will
fill in the blanks as necessary. It will be fun to discuss some points about
the history since there are a lot of holes. It would be cool to add our own
version of fluff to the books and dispell any misconception.

A Heresy era supplement for Net epic would be a blast too, so if you got the
time I can edit it and input as time permits.

Thanks!

Peter

Hey! That is a great idea! A lot of difference in opinion does stem from
what views people have on the background, and we all know it has become
diluted and confusing over time. I think we should state a more or less
"standard" version and develop things along that line.

--->I'm willing to take on this project. Fool that I am. I have some
experience with this (dealing with Greyhawk canon for ADnD), and have
most of what's out there (the exception being some WD's). And with
people like Peter and Jyrki to correct me when I err, it should work out
well. I kinda sorta started gathering notes for this awhile back, but
never got around to doing anything with it. guess now I have an
incentive eh? This should, in theory, give us a consistent basis for
army lists and such. As well as providing the common bond. I do have
gaps concerning the Slann (only RT era references), so I'll definitely
need help there. Some creative editing will be in order, just to make it
all blend together. Now, on a further related note, any interest in a
Heresy era source book? You want a balanced game? Play this era stuff.
Marine vs. Marine, IG vs IG....be fun. I already have the primarchs done
up (not all play tested yet), from the Emperor on down. OK, so it'll be
like AT/SM1 again. Still, it has a lot of potential, and the only army
list out of the picture would be the Bugs (except for genestealers). So,
any takers there too?
