Hi!

If it is decided to be changed I too would go with Darius's suggestion. Also
I think we should give the necron vehicles a straight fixed save by type and
eliminate the confusion as Rune suggests.

Example:

APC type vehicle straight 5+ save

Most other tanks straight 4+ save

There is only one super heavy we can leave at 3+ fixed or just 4+ fixed

I think we should tend towards simplification, the above changes makes them
equally powerful in a simpler easier to remember fashion.

Opinions?

Peter

If we're going with one save, i have to agree with Dardman. A
4+ regen roll for all Necrons and Troop saves at 6+. Also, please
clean up the different saves for the Necron vehicles. This and
that modifiable to this and that. It's hard to remember. How about
just giving all Necron Vehicles the same save?
Also, if they're to be numerous, please add the removed detachment
again!

Hi!

I guess what we would like is to make these guy more viable. The fluff says
these guys are numerous, but with these powers and high cost that is not
shown. I think with a single save (repair roll) and a lower cost perhaps
they may be fielded more and work as they are intended.

Opinions?

I think you misunderstood me. All Necron self-repairs would be a 4+ and the
Necron infantry wouldn't get an armor save(or only 6+) just the repair roll.
This is similar to the creatures that can regenerate. Personally I think the
Necrons are over-priced and this would justify their price by giving both
infantry and vehicles better self-repair chances (there would be no change
in price because it is now easier to take out a Necron warrior). This is the
option I offered but I really don't see a need to change them.
