simply use just the Necron list to make your army you do not have to mix the Slann in with the Necron.

The Slann army contains the Necron too. Our fluff is different. The Necron are the backbone of the Slann in their fight against the Tyranids.
The Slann list permits you to make a mostly Necron or mostly Exodite slann army. Lots of good stuff there, take a look!

For those who have been very patient (and those bad boys who haven't) your wait is over!
I have uploaded to our vault at:
http://www.egroups.com/files/netepic/Net+Epic+Version+4.0/ the latest 4.0 files of most of the army lists.
The chaos and Dark eldar ones are still being edited and will be available by the end of the week.
The sisters of battle will be added to the Defenders of the Imperium book soon.
Defenders of the Imperium (Josh's cool name for the IG book), includes IG, tech guard and the planetary defence forces.
Ed, Darius and Rune, please check the Slann book to make sure what was agreed upon is all there. Basically the Necron are now the main cannon fodder on par with marines, with the repair ability, costs for them have substancially lowered. Saves have been standarized as per our conversions. Runes Reptile titan (now dubbed as Razorfang titan) has been included also.
I urge all members to look into the book that represents their army of preference and to search for typos and any mistakes. Also rule interpretations or wording should be discussed here.
Consider these the last version before its final form, so we can change anything at this point.
Once this is over I dedicate my time to completeing the huge task of the epic picture library and army cards.
