No, special cards aren't free. You can BUY one special card
per company card you buy. Special cards are units which are
rare (read : very good), and are as such restricted by this
rule.

Hello. I was noticing that on the Overview for version 3.0, it says
that you may include 1 special card per Company Card in your army.
You are not required to purchase Special Cards. I am playing with a
Dark Angel army. On the Space Marine Army Cards and Composition, it
lists Company Cards, Support Cards, and Special Cards. My question
is this. All Medics, Chaplains, Inquisitors, Forward Observers, Drop
Pods, Razorbacks, and Titans are listed under the Special Cards. Do
I get to field one of these cards with one of my companys for free?
I could get a Titan for free? Please clarify. Thanks!
