Peter,
One thing I think about the Chaos list everyone is getting wrong are the ties to demon primarchs. I was talking about the Chaos list with another Net Epic gamer I game with and he has convinced me that the group may be going in the wrong direction. Traitor legions may not have all had the taint of chaos but more of a disdain for the emperor and would have no relation to demon primarchs. Armies such as those should have very few restrictions on the Space Marine units they can take but may not take any demonic/chaos support cards and shouldn't be able to use chaos cards but as Kelvin has given them some unique ability they have specialized in. Maybe traitor legions should be there own race of armies and can ally with each other and or chaos? Just a thought.
