Two requests to the list members:
A) Avoid flames. Having this list turn into an endless series of
pointless flame wars was not the reason I subscribed. Let's keep the
signal to noise ratio high, please.
B) Quote in a decent manner. This means snipping unnecessary lines,
and using some distinctive way to distinguish the quote from your
remarks. Some of the past emails have been a nightmare to read, with
quotes spread all over the post and impossible to discern from the
new text. It' s a pain to read such messages, and any mailer worth
his name allows for some easy and automatic fix.
This list is a happy bastion of intelligence in the sea of Internet
idiocy. Let's keep it this way, please.
