I also had a question about the Lord of Change. I recently played Slann
vs. Chaos and a situation came up where a Necron Assault Unit was shot
with the bolt of change and failed to save. Would the Necron soldier
still be able to use his self repair or is he completely turned into a
chaos spawn without getting his self repair at the end of the turn?

ability....but I would say that it would be that the Necron is now a
Spawn, no repair is available, because its very nature has changed.
