Hi!
Does not work against Tyranids, all fluff and stories about astropath
contacting or fighting the hive mind end in insamity for the astropath,
the mind is too alien the way their psychic's work is totally alien to
humanity, even demon magic by comparison (since it evolves from human
vices) is "coherent" in comparison. While one can use defense magic to
screen oneself or a unit, to nullify thier magic at the source is an
entirely different matter.
This not only extend to this power, but many others that dont mention
Tyranids, consider tyranids immune to these as well (i.e purge psyker).
