Well I remember something very similar with the change from 1st to 2nd
edition. I was rampant when they scrapped all the old rules and stared
again. A lot of the armies were outdated or based wrong. They used to have 5
bikes of a WFB horse stand. Now that took a lot of effort to fix back up.
And there was a problem with the IG heavies and the commisars, but that's
another thing. I won't be buying the new epic 40K, unless it is real great.
I do not want to rebase the infantry and if there is a great advantage to
the new bases, I'll be very upset. After all the hours of doing infantry, I
don't want them being redundant. I think I'll be following the majority and
keep playing epic as it is. Besides a lot of the changes that seem to be
being made are practically straight from dirtside II so they wouldn't be
hard to take across. I'll wait and see, as the release is just a few months
away (Haha)
