To add my part to yet another GW bashing string . . .
I am stationed in Germany and I was surprised to find that the
blisters in Europe are packaged differently. They correspond with the
rules, i.e. 5 Ratlings per blister.
I think the packaging scam is an American GW idea. Not surprising
when you think about it. Americans are the ones that worship money.
Another interesting note on miniatures. The Hobby stores in Germany
still have a lot of old Epic and 40K minis on the shelf. They sell
for full price. Apparently Europeans don't buy minis in the numbers
we do. (and Germans don't have sales?)

-----> Nothing so much with the cards themselves - I liked having the
morale and VP info on a card. The thing which annoyed most other
players though,
was probably that wonderful GW practice of requiring "X" minis on the
card
but selling "X+1" or "X-1" in the blisters and on the sprues. Used to
get to
me...
The card concept isn't bad, but I will give it up for variable unit
sizes. Now I have a use for that 6th Gobsmasha or 6th Wartrak.
P.S. I never heard a good reason why they didn't put the statline on
the
army cards.
This was such an obvious move, I never understood why it didn't
happen.
