fine and good, although both sides should probably have a 'flavour
advantage', so you might want to come up with some special rules for your
marines (they were drop/aerial assault specialists, weren't they? Maybe
thats advantage enough in itself... one idea is to add plus one to the
reinforcement die roll for drop pods and aerial detachments that include
thunderhawks, to reflect the fact that your chapter is very experienced
with these operations and can exucute them in minimal amounts of time).

For competitive games against non-buddies, one should probably come up with
point costs for these abilities, although some will be difficult (the bad
moons cheap shooty boyz particularily).
