Well.... on my system midi things sound pretty good. But then again, I
have a veddy veddy top of the line sound system on my home box. My
computer came with a Hamarn amp. The sound card is made to drive an
amp, not just speakers. While you don't quite get the knock you off you
feet effect the sub-woofer does come real close to the kettle drums from
hell in that.
