     If you're really worried about Morale then just use the value of the
     Detachment as the Morale. Therefore the Morale of a 2000pt force
     would be, um, 2000pts. I'd guess that the reason the Morale was
     rounded up to the nearest 50 (or whatever) is that taking 7 Morale
     from 43 is quicker than 2000 - 338 (and then 1662 - 153, etc.).
     
     Simplicity. Change it if you don't like it.
