In 1st ed. titans with less weapons cost less and also
got a few other bonuses. Also in 1st edition, you could stick
almost as many weapons on a titan as you wanted... one of the
pictures in AT is of a Warlord with 7 or 8 weapons on it. (of
course there are penalties involved, but it was still a scary
sight for this SM/TL'er).
