Do you just game over generic terrain with no signs of inhabitation orActually I prefer military oeprations in built up areas, it looks cooler. I definately use the sprues of buildings that came with the game (I wish they made some intact buildigs also). In fact I bought more and have created a ruined city which is about 3 feet by 3 feet. I also have a bunch of buildings from Tactical Conflict Systems. These I sue for villages and smaller towns. I have both the intact and regular variety. I also bought a bunch of futuristic modular buildings from GEOHEX: WWW.Geohex.com which I used to construct a base and facilities . I took all this stuff, mounted it on cardstock and created city blocks with roads. for rubble I sued peiced of sprue, small rocks, tin foil old microarmor vehicles and figures (for dead civilians) and other junk. I created craters with beer caps and tin foil that look great. Then I spray painted (primer black) flocked and sprayed again to get a good "Nuked look". I finished up with some highlighting. It's a work in prgress but it looks pretty good. I could probably put together a 4' x 4' city at least.
what? Do you only use the ruins that come with both the infantry sprues and
the new SM game?

Another great source of building materials is various packing materials.
US SPortser modems come packed in this cardboard thing. that makes a great
futuristic building. I found this plastic thing that looks like something
tomatoes tomatoes come in that makes eiethr a great huge hydroponic greenhouse
or some sort a futuristic shiled generator. The radar dish off an
old Star wars figure millenium faclon also makes a great commo array. For
Christmas someone gave me a micronauts Mars Sourjourner explorer whish
has a bunch of parts and is perfect for Epic Scale.

I use GEOHEX terrainscape Matts to lay down under everything and I do have their hills which I use.
If anyone wants pictures of my anything let me know as I have a digital camera. I am hard at work on my Epic site but it'll be a few more weeks becasue of some diarammas I'm making and a short story I'm finishing up. Received on Sat Feb 14 1998 - 21:02:17 UTC
